Davide Sozio (b. 1994 Vicenza, Italy)

BIO Davide Sozio is a visual artist and art therapist whose work spans large-scale painting, site-specific materials, and participatory interventions. Alongside his solo production, marked by expansive, process-driven paintings that explore ecological and social narratives, he develops collaborative works in dialogue with marginalized communities, including people with disabilities, mental health challenges, and social exclusion. Merging formal research with a relational approach, Sozio turns materials and gestures into tools for connection, care, and shared memory. He has taken part in residencies in India and Italy, where he deepened his research into natural pigments, handmade supports and process-led painting. A graduate of the Fine Arts Academies of Venice and Brera, his work has been shown in both independent and public spaces across Italy, including Spazio Zephiro, Chiostri di San Lorenzo, and DoRobe, where he curated Revolver, an exhibition on outsider art. Through workshops and socially engaged projects, Sozio creates open-ended environments where artistic language becomes a form of healing and of re-imagining futures.
