This research treats large-scale painting as a collective act of expression, gathering individual visions into a shared image that connects, is publicly visible and remains open to all. Pigments are handcrafted from locally gathered soils and minerals, and reclaimed supports are chosen for each site, embedding the place’s materials into the work. Adults, students and groups take part in participatory interventions to reflect on belonging, ecology and resilience.
