GRAND ART HOTEL / 2023 - 2024
Grand Art Hotel was a socially engaged art project developed with residents of the Albergo Cittadino, Vicenza’s municipal shelter. Through workshops in painting, drawing, and textiles, participants explored personal memories and places through artistic practice. The process began with color and material exploration, evolving into the creation of functional textile objects—blankets, cushions, and bags—combining visual expression with craft. These works embodied personal narratives while fostering connection and agency. The project laid the groundwork for future community-based installations and potential sustainable production, using art as a tool for inclusion, dialogue, and visibility around homelessness.
