PARKINSON PROJECT / 2022 - 2024

In partnership with the Parkinson Vicenza Association, this long-term project offered weekly art workshops for individuals living with Parkinson’s. The first phase focused on exploring painting and ceramics through technical and experimental exercises, fostering confidence and creative engagement. In the second year, participants developed personal works inspired by themes related to their lived experience. Sessions combined storytelling and visual expression, offering therapeutic relief, social connection, and a renewed sense of agency. The project culminated in a large-scale collaborative piece using acrylic, fabric, and wool—now permanently displayed at the Association’s headquarters. The work celebrates resilience, shared creativity, and the transformative role of art in chronic illness care.
