Collaborative painting developed within the psychogeriatric ward at Istituto Salvi. Three participatory workshops produced a 5 × 3 m painting on reclaimed bed sheets using natural and mineral pigments. The work depicts a tree as a shared symbol of growth, resilience, and community. Participants contributed according to their abilities, which fostered a strong sense of shared authorship. By transforming site-responsive materials into art, Sheets bridges clinical care and contemporary practice and highlights the therapeutic potential of collective creation. The final piece remains on display at the institute.
