ETHEREAL GROUNDS / Bangalore, IN (2025)
Curated by Ali Novello, Ethereal Grounds shaped a process-led approach to painting. Tempera and recycled jute were sourced at Chickpet Market, Bangalore, to ground the work in local practice. The work continued outdoors at Mango Trails, where vegetation, shifting light and wind became active agents in the making, culminating in a temporary installation exploring labour and impermanence. Exchanges with fellow residents, local artisans and the Bengaluru School of Visual Arts raised new questions about materials and the environment, extending my practice into shared reflections on craft, place and community.
